- Adventure Rides: Perfect for beginners, first-timers, and anyone with additional needs. Enjoy pony brushing, mini riding sessions, themed games, or a peaceful trek. We welcome riders of all abilities, including those with physical disabilities, autism, and other special needs. This is the perfect horse riding experience for special needs kids and families.
- Countryside Treks: Take a gentle stroll along scenic country paths with views of Binevenagh Mountain. This is a walk-and-trot level ride, making it ideal for beginners, those looking to get back in the saddle, or anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Irish countryside. Our team ensures you feel comfortable and confident, offering a relaxed, accessible experience for all—no prior riding skills needed. Join us for a beginner-friendly countryside trek for the whole family.
- Day at the Stables: Experience the joy of horses with riding lessons tailored to all skill levels, fun pony games, and hands-on stable management. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced rider, we focus on fun and inclusivity for all ages—even kids under 4! If you’re looking for family-friendly events for beginners, this is the perfect day out!
- Sensory Sessions: Our autism-friendly B.R.I.D.L.E program provides a safe, inclusive space for children and adults to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of horse riding. These sessions offer fun horseback games, obstacle courses, and tranquil trails for the whole family to enjoy. Our sensory horse riding sessions are perfect for kids with autism and disabilities, offering therapeutic and inclusive experiences.
- Group Riding Lessons – for all riding abilities
- Beach Rides: Experience the beauty of riding along the stunning Northern Irish coastline with our beach trail! This mixed-ability ride is perfect for everyone—beginners can enjoy a relaxed, walk along the beach, while more experienced riders can pick up the pace with a canter.
- Duration: 2.5 hours (includes a prep session and beach ride)
- Details: Begin with a horse assessment at Crindle Stables, where you’ll practice stopping, steering, trotting, or even cantering based on your ability. Then, follow in your car behind our horse boxes (approx. 15-minute drive) to Benone Beach. Enjoy a 1-hour ride along Benone Beach, finishing on the famous Downhill Beach, with stunning ocean views throughout.
Crindle Stables welcomes everyone—regardless of age, ability, or special needs. The horse riding experience we had here yesterday was brilliant. Elliott and Amy were so friendly and professional, they looked after us from start to finish. We felt in safe hands, would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

This is one of the most friendly stables I have been too. Its relaxed , friendly, homely and so welcoming . we had a mini lesson before a trek and after there was no rush to get us away , we were allowed to groom the horses , see the other horses and ponies in the stables and spend as much time as we needed . The staff are so attentive, patient, non judgemental and know when to laugh with you and not at you … all in all we had a magical time and would highly recommend it …

Fabulous experience!!
Our daughter absolutely loved it – she is only 20 months and the team took their time to introduce her to lots of ponies and horses first, then showed her other children wearing their helmets so that she wasn’t scared by the time it was her time to ride the pony. They did lots of different exercises and built up their confidence. A great experience and we would definitely do regular lessons if we lived in the area. Thanks very much!

Took my two granddaughters..Ella and Katie to Crindle Stables for a Christmas treat….they had an hour of fun… Amy and Hannah are just the loveliest of girls so friendly and great with the wee ones.They will definitely be back again.
